Teaching Approach

What to Expect in My Classes

My courses are built around one principle: to be is to be able. Students don’t just hear about technology; they build things, break things, and figure out why. Every class uses hands-on projects and real-world tools so students leave with skills they can actually use.

Hands-On: Students build working projects every week — code, robots, and websites
Real Tools: Industry-standard software and platforms, not toy simulators
Selah Learn LMS: All assignments, materials, and grades managed through Selah Learn
Communication: Parents and students can reach me directly at any time
About the Instructor

I hold a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University and have 12 years of college-level teaching experience in cybersecurity. Before academia, I spent years in industry as a telecommunications engineer and technologist at companies including Shell Oil and British Telecommunications. I bring that professional experience into the classroom so students learn how technology works in the real world, not just in a textbook.
